Michael Gardner
Michael is a Sr. Manager, Strategic Accounts at LinkedIn. In this role, he leads a sales team that helps LinkedIn's top customers leverage the power of LinkedIn to accelerate business growth. Prior to joining LinkedIn, he spent a decade at Google, helping customers and agency partners of all sizes leverage Google Ads to profitably grow their business. Over the years, Michael has made significant contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, building and scaling programs locally, nationally, and globally. He was even recognized in a Fortune magazine cover story for some of his inclusion initiatives. Michael graduated from the
University of Michigan, where he studied
Business and Spanish. He lives in Michigan with his wife and 2 kids.
James Jones
James Jones, Esq. has more than 15 years of experience in business formation, contract negotiation, business startups, and corporations and LLC's. He is the owner of Elevate Law, P.C., which serves early and growth stage startups and specializes in business startup advisement, organizational restructuring, contract negotiation, and real estate transaction negotiation and document creation. Jones is also a supervising attorney at Boston College Law School. In this role, he services the needs of clients in the transactional law section of the Community Enterprise Clinic, covering a broad range of corporate matters that include formation, intellectual property conflict resolution, and contract drafting and review. In his free time, Jones is a volunteer mentor at the Boston nonprofit startup incubator, Smarter in the City.
